Centralized safety messaging across 160+ screens at remote operational sites
How Saudi Aramco Nabors Drilling replaced fragmented, site-by-site communication with a single, on-premises Screendrive network that keeps every crew informed — even when the connection drops.
Getting the right message to every site, every time
Saudi Aramco Nabors Drilling's workforce is spread across remote operational sites, where safety briefings, policy changes and operational updates must reach employees quickly and consistently.
What was getting in the way
- Safety and policy notices had to reach many geographically dispersed sites at once.
- Remote locations face intermittent network connectivity.
- Headquarters needed control over what was shown, where and when.
- Company data and content had to stay within the organisation's own infrastructure.
What Saudi Aramco Nabors Drilling needed
- One central platform to manage and schedule content for all sites.
- Reliable playback that continues during network outages.
- Flexible layouts mixing announcements, images and video.
- A scalable system that can grow with new screens and sites.
Screendrive, deployed on-premises
Screendrive partner Al Thamin Technologies designed and delivered a complete signage network: dedicated Android media players at each display, managed from a Screendrive CMS hosted on Saudi Aramco Nabors Drilling's own server.
Key capabilities delivered
- Central control from the headquarters / management location.
- Offline playback keeps content running during network downtime.
- Remote scheduling of content to any screen or group of screens.
- On-premises hosting keeps content and data under company control.
- Multi-zone layouts for announcements, images and videos side by side.
- Scalable architecture ready for additional screens and sites.
A phased, low-risk rollout
The project followed a structured path from pilot validation to full deployment, training and ongoing support.

Resilience in remote locations
Offline playback means crews keep seeing critical safety information even when site connectivity is interrupted.
Full data control
With the CMS hosted on-premises, content and system data remain inside Saudi Aramco Nabors Drilling's own infrastructure.
Self-sufficient operations
Trained in-house staff can now upload, schedule and update content independently, backed by video guides and partner support.
